DonorConnection is the first nonprofit to use digital passport technology to prove donations are received, data wiped, and refurbished. Digital Passports are webpages created for each donated item that enhances transparency by providing hardware specifications, current GPS location, and irrefutable evidence of data destruction for each device processed. How to Donate Tech, Without Leaving Home
Get a pre-paid UPS label to ship donated laptops and cell phones. Pickups for large donations can be arrange for businesses.
Fill Out the donation form
Simply fill out the donation form to receive a pre-paid mailing label. Don't forget to select the charity you want to support.
Prepare Your Donation
Wrap your donations with material to protect them and place them in a cardboard box.
Mail In your donation
Once devices are packaged, they can be mailed via UPS.
Get Proof of receipt & Data Destruction
Once your donation is received, processed and data wiped you'll get links to your Digital Passports.
